I need your vote
we'll be going to palm springs later on this month and i need to find the right hat for jonah. when i went shopping w/ the ladies yesterday i saw a couple of possiblilities.
ok - here's the question:
which hat do you think that i should buy for jonah?
#1 - cargo sun hat
#2 - gecko bucket hat
#3 - fish bucket hat

how about a trendy yankees cap?
i like the cargo sun hat (indiana jonesish, good sun block) or bucket hat (sporty). both cool, and very male. gecko hat is cute, but more estrogen.
can't wait to see which hat he gets.
we actually have a yankee hat but it's too big for him right now. when he gets older, he'll definitely be sportin that one.
as much as i love little boys in caps/bucket hat, #1 & #3 provide better protection from the sun. #2 doesn't protect back of his neck nor the tip of his ears, if they stick out. if i have to vote for one... hmm... #1!
1: cool hat. has wide brim for coverage. needed in the SoCal sun
2: cool too but not enough coverage.
3: same but too cute and not manly enough
I'd probably go with #1 or 3 for the protection. Make sure you bring lots of sun screen!
#2 looks the coolest. the other ones make him look like a grandpa (#1) or a golden girls cast member (#3).
c'mon, do you want him to look COOL or do you want to protect him from the sun? I vote for #2. :-)
too bad #2 isn't as practical because that one is my fav. but to avoid singed ears (which is very painful from my experience of just wearing a hat like #2 in the sun), my vote is for #1.
#2 coolest! get it anyway even if not for the sun.
#1 for protection, but swap that out for #2 when taking pictures. He'll thank you in the future. If you feel like scarring his psyche, then go for #3.
#1 reminds me of paddington bear and #2 is super cute. i like both.
