i went out late this afternoon and it could not have been more perfect. we live right next to the hudson river and by the esplanade. when you walk down the esplanade all you see are strollers galore, cyclists, runners, walkers and dogs. so today, i walked along the esplanade and here's what the love jones and i saw today.
the world financial center is right behind the jones....
this is the dog run that i used to take sophie to before the arrival of my beautiful son. i love this dog run. it has a little pool for the dogs to swim in over the summer.

the nyc police memorial....
this is one of the many parks in battery park city that we'll be taking the jones to when he gets older. sorry sophie, this is a no dog zone.
the irish hunger memorial pond....
i will definitely be taking jonah here to play. can't wait.

so does sophie get taken out less? or does she come along?
she does get taken out less to the dog run but whenever i walk around, i pretty much take the sophitications w/ us. she loves it.
