happy birthday, sis!

i have the best sister in the whole world. here are some things that i love about her:

1. when jonah was born, some of my family thought they were going to be able to come out to ny to help us out but everybody started bailing out on me. when mary heard this, she booked a flight that day and arrived that very night. she completely surprised us.

2. i ask the stupidest and weirdest questions, mary is always patient w/ me and answers all my questions.

3. she's brutally honest. if i need any advice, i can count on her to tell me the truth and tell it like it is.

4. whenever i'm w/ mary, i know that i will never be ignored.

5. if we both start talking at the same time, she ALWAYS lets me go first.

6. if we had too much to drink and we get into it w/ somebody, i know that she's always got my back.

7. she is very supportive in whatever that i do.

even though you never gave me free ice cream at BR, i love you anyways. ;p

tonight we went to kittichai for our 8 year anniversary. food was not that great but the decor was very nice and beautiful.

leonard and liz were nice enough to watch jonah while we spent the night just the two of us (a rare occasion these days).

i love my hair

i did it. i chopped off my hair AND got it professionally colored for the very first time. don't you just love the way you feel after you walk out of a salon? i just wish i knew how to style it this way every time i did it. oh well.

the pink part was supposed to be more red but it's ok. i kinda like the hot pink. i'm happy to say that all my grays are gone, too (that's for you, mary and galit). LOVE IT! i felt like a little rock star.

if you ever need your haircut in nyc, i highly highly recommend this guy, ray. he's amazing and he only charges $30. i didn't even pay that little in monterey park and he does a way better job. you can't get better than that.
