late afternoon, we decided to explore the upper east side. we walked from 77nd st to 51st. it seems like a lot but it wasn't too bad. there was not too much going on since it was a sunday and everything was closed. i was hoping that we could do some people watching but not much to see. oh well. here's one pic that we took.


radio city music hall is right across the street from tim's work. so cool.

Downtown

we live in battery park city which is right next to the financial district. we've lived here for a year and a half now and we really haven't explored too much down here. so i decided that today was the day. this is what the love jones and i saw.

City Hall day

today was another beautiful day in the city. i had to get out. i'm in the market for a tape player so that i could play jonah, my psalty, the singing song book collection. my mom used to play this for my sister and my brother all the time when we were growing up.

we headed out to best buy in noho. we got there but we didn't see anything we liked. here's what we saw and liked...

the municipal bldg by city hall. jonah was not very happy.

NYC Firefighters

What's up with all the NYC firefighters? As Jonah and I were walking to Babies R Us there must have been at least 3 or 4 firetrucks that passed us and as I gazed, I noticed that all the guys in the truck were very good looking. What's up w/ that? Gotta love the firefighers. Is it just me or what?

another fabulous day in nyc....

when i woke up this morning i found out that it was going to be almost 80 degrees today. i had to get out with the love jones. so we decided to walk to babies r us at union square. it took us almost an hour but it was worth it. check out our little journey.

on our way home, we stopped by mommy's favorite chinese restaurant in chinatown, xo cafe. it has wonton noodle and soup and spanish coffee, just like ok cafe in alhambra. another favorite place of mommy's.



awww!!! we made it home in one piece even with all the gushing winds.
